Who we are

Di and Paul, the dynamic duo behind The Limery, turned a bare plot of land into a thriving citrus haven at the heart of Wairoa. Their shared passion for sustainability, community, and incredible citrus products laid the foundation of everything The Limery stands for today.

Though Paul is no longer with us, his vision and values remain deeply woven into who we are.

Di continues to lead with resilience and heart, ensuring The Limery thrives as a testament to their shared dream.

4 Hectares

4 Lime Varieties

3500 Trees

With 4 hectares, 4 lime varieties, and approximately 3500 trees, and foresight, we have created a full facility enabling us to grow and process both whole fruit and juice directly to market.

Our directors have over 50 years of experience in the New Zealand Beverage Industry and, with drive and determination, have created this once bare land block into a Wairoa landmark.

Meet the Team

Behind every lime is a passionate team bringing our citrus vision to life. Meet the friendly faces that make The Limery what it is today – driven by hard work, heart, and a love for what we do.

We are a privately owned, fully integrated, and certified Lime grower and processor located at the mouth of the Wairoa River in Wairoa, Northern Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.  Our unique climate and subtropical environment make this location very desirable for the growth of citrus and limes.

The Limery

A bird’s eye view

Lots has changed over the past few years. The lime trees we planted that used to be so small have now matured and require ladders for us to reach all the fruit. We have added a whole range of new lime varieties and planted a whole bunch of new trees.

The Juicing Process

Meet our juicing plant, we are now geared up to provide lime juice for both wholesale and retail. Here's a sneak peek into the process of how we make our juice.
